About Me

Hello, My name is Greg Wagner, current Computer Science and Physics undergraduate student at Middle Tennessee State University.

I am a Student Veteran, carrying the determination and honor I found serving in the United States Army into my current studies in the fields of Computer Science and Physics. Why these two areas of study? I grew up around computers, as my father has built and worked on them his whole life. My father is currently a Senior IT Tech at Bacher Computer Solutions Inc. My love of the digital world has only grown over the years. I have always retained a love for exploration, a desire to know the fundamental truths of the world around all of us. This is why I found myself drawn to physics. Fundemental engineering was not enough, I had to know why. Why does energy flow through a wire? How does a heater or refrigerator work? How does a signal from a cell phone move through the air?! The study of physics has allowed me to pursue this knowledge to better understand the world we live in and and harness the power of nature.
